We are a group of motorcycle enthusiasts with more than half a century of combined extensive experience of riding the most magnificent passes and roads in and around Cape Town and want to share the beauty with you.
Every Biker has a yearning to ride thrilling, exciting and memorable roads with bends and twists that leave you smiling from ear to ear. Roads that just make you want to ride them again and again.

With some of the most spectacular passes and pristine motorcycle-friendly roads the Cape has to offer, rivalling most European passes, and leave you with an experience of a lifetime. Trust us… we have tried them all! While enjoying the adrenaline riding gives you there is plenty of time for a few stops to take in the breathtaking sights as well as some of the most spectacular activities that Africa has to offer. We have a selection of motorcycles for you to choose from that will make your tour most comfortable and just like any road trip backup will be covered!
Our tour is put together by enthusiastic Bikers who have been riding these passes for many years and they still smile every time they ride them. We at Around the Bends believe that even after riding in the Alps, Italian Dolimites and the Black Forest, you will love riding these passes just as much as we do.
Instead of spending a night in a different place every stop, being rushed with no chance to settle and the inconvenience of packing and unpacking, you will enjoy the comfort of your accommodation and the tour will take off in a different direction experiencing amazing sights and awesome activities the route has to offer and returning to your accommodation at the end of the day, allowing you to have a relaxed and exciting ride with no extra baggage (wife/parter/girfriend/boyfriend excluded 🙂 )
After a day of riding on your preferred motorbikes, you will experience the best steak, seafood and more at the local restaurants just a stone’s throw away from your location with beer and wine a plenty. Some of our activities even include a personalised wine tour, craft beer and gin tasting as well as trying out some of the local delicacies. With our local knowledge, you will take part in the most amazing experiences which will make your tour unique.
